Ed at Great Falls Park

There is a cool little park just outside the DC beltway called Great Falls. It’s on the Virginia side of the Potomac River, and there is another park on the Maryland side. We hiked around, looking at the ruins of the old Patowmack Canal and watched some kayakers paddling down a portion of the river.
