The Space Needle and Other Tourist Hotspots

One Way to Get Us Both in the Picture

The Space Needle is such a unique landmark that it seemed mandatory as a visitor to go to the top of it. Everybody asks, "Did you go to the Space Needle? You have to go to the space needle." It's not the highest building in Seattle, (the highest is the Bank of America Building) but it has an exceptional view. It's located a little bit outside the downtown area so there is a clear view of Seattle's tallest buildings, the bodies of water and the mountains. It was a clear day in Seattle but when we looked back from where we came from, Mt. Rainier, it was covered in clouds again. There is a restaurant in the Needle but we decided not to go, mainly because we are not willing to pay $24 for a simple hamburger.
